Privacy

Plain language about your information.

The short version: the site collects only what is needed to respond, deliver client work, secure private access, and measure the public funnel when you allow it.

Last updated September 5, 2026
This is a plain-language description of current site practices, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel as the business and platform evolve.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the public pages at automatonic.dev, project inquiries submitted through the site, and the invitation-only client portal.

Information you choose to provide

  • Project-inquiry details such as your name, email address, website, business context, and the problem you describe, along with your optional mailing-list choice.
  • Client-account email addresses used for invitation-only access.
  • Deliverables, invoice-link metadata, next actions, and other project information made available inside the protected client portal.
  • Messages or files you send directly to Michael outside the website.

Information collected through the site

The hosting provider may process ordinary technical logs needed to deliver and secure the site. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after you choose to allow analytics and only on public pages. When enabled, they may collect information about pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, clicks, scrolling, and public-page interactions. Clarity may create masked session recordings and heatmaps. Automatonic does not intentionally send client names, email addresses, invoice amounts, document titles, private workspace activity, or inquiry free text to either analytics provider.

How information is used

  • To review and respond to project inquiries.
  • To send occasional website tips and service updates only when you separately opt in to the Automatonic mailing list. Requesting an audit does not subscribe you.
  • To provide invited clients with their audits, deliverables, invoice links, and next actions.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
  • To understand public-site usage when analytics consent has been granted.
  • To keep business, tax, contractual, and project records where required.

Service providers and external links

The site is hosted by Vercel. The client portal uses Supabase for authentication, database records, and private file storage. Optional public-site analytics use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Audit discovery and project inquiry forms use Formspree to process and store the submitted answers and mailing-list choice and send a notification to Michael at michael@automatonic.dev. Invoice buttons can open a Found-hosted invoice or payment page. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and security

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, deliver the engagement, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, including invitation-only access and row-level authorization for client records. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can decline optional analytics, change that choice through Cookie settings, request access to or correction of information you provided, or ask about deletion where retention is not legally or operationally required. Email michael@automatonic.dev to make a request.

You can request an audit without joining the mailing list. To withdraw mailing-list consent, reply to an email or contact michael@automatonic.dev.

Children and changes

The site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. This policy may change when site practices or service providers change; the date above will be updated when that happens.

A small, honest cookie choice

Essential storage keeps secure client access working. Optional analytics help me understand the public site. Analytics stay off unless you allow them.
